Humbly, I believe it wouldn't be right to introduce our new business model without first sharing the story behind Live-Cell—and my own. That’s why I wanted to reflect on my journey and pass on what I’ve learned so far to fellow entrepreneurs and aspiring founders. For me, this was not only a personal look back but also a chance to explain how I transitioned into the LegalTech space and what my vision for the future looks like.

Entrance

Live-Cell's transformation and, in short, its rebirth—not only is it the story of a startup emerging from silence, but also of a founder rebuilding their own mental model, priorities, and strategic compass. Entrepreneurship is often less about brilliant ideas than about clear decisions made at the right moment . And it's precisely here, at a threshold fraught with uncertainty yet compelled to restructure, that my journey continues to unfold.

Chapter 1: Main Focus

My Personal Journey and Life Experiences

My story began in childhood, when I encountered the books in my grandfather's library. My curiosity for knowledge began to blossom at that age. My first computer experience occurred in 2005-2006, marking a significant turning point in my interest in technology. Subsequently, moving to a dorm and living away from my family for an extended period greatly benefited me in gaining a sense of responsibility and becoming a more disciplined individual.

I studied veterinary medicine in university, but personal losses and a period of self-reflection led me to entrepreneurship. During this period, I began to reflect on what was truly important in life, delving into my burgeoning entrepreneurial spirit and discovering my own strengths and talents. From then on, entrepreneurship became not just a profession for me, but a way of life.

Entrepreneurship Starting with Digital Marketing

I founded Live-Cell as a digital marketing agency in 2021. For over three years, we served various sectors, including law, healthcare, and printing. We grew to a team of 18 and completed numerous projects. However, high costs, client management issues, and internal team challenges demonstrated that this model was unsustainable. However, digital marketing remains a significant field and offers a variety of opportunities. Based on my individual mistakes and subsequent strategic work, I concluded that it would be better to continue with a differentiated approach.

Therefore, I transitioned from our digital marketing services to a consulting model. While rooted in my own experiences, consulting also emerged as a natural need in the entrepreneurial field. In the following years, I began focusing on providing strategic clarity and mentoring entrepreneurs. It was time to turn all the knowledge I'd learned, researched, and learned into learning.

Technology Startups and Experiences

During my entrepreneurial journey, I developed various technology ventures, including "WeAgreed," a blockchain-based freelancer payment system, and AI-based chatbot projects. Beyond my focus on technology, I also launched "Frah," a startup where we planned to provide comfort to desk workers using wooden materials, and "Chec," a food project for a friend's doctoral project where we tried to adapt to the changing post-coronavirus diet with healthy chocolates. Ultimately, these experiences showed me the advantage of pursuing a specific focus, but I continued with my foundation in technology. These ventures taught me many things, but the most prominent one was the realization that long-term success cannot be achieved without a strategy and a people-centered approach. These experiences led me to further reflect on the concepts of sustainability and strategic clarity.

To succeed in the tech world, not only innovative ideas but also their applicability and sustainability are critical. Therefore, thinking more strategically and developing human-centered approaches (from marketing to product development) form the foundation of a startup's foundation. At the same time, the absence of these elements within a startup is a key factor in many other issues. Of course, an entrepreneur may not realize this. Therefore, a keen eye can prevent the same mistakes from occurring in a different startup.

Chapter 2: Perspective

My Reasons for Turning to LegalTech

Digital Transformation and LegalTech Opportunities in the Legal Sector

The legal sector is notorious for its intense regulations and slow digitalization process. Problems such as excessive documentation, high costs, accessibility difficulties, and client communication are among the biggest challenges. Pioneering initiatives like Clio globally and Günce in Türkiye are taking significant steps to change this situation. These developments present a major transformational opportunity for entrepreneurs and create a framework similar to the Fintech development of the 2010s. The development of legal technologies is inevitable; community and collaboration are necessary for this process to progress more effectively and achieve a good level in global comparisons.

Challenges Facing Lawyers and Digital Transformation

The problems lawyers face, combined with the experience I've gained through providing digital marketing services, demonstrate that the legal field harbors numerous challenges and that comprehensive change is essential to address them. Digital transformation remains an uncertain area for legal professionals; while concepts like artificial intelligence, automation, and LegalTech are on the agenda, their implications for daily practice remain unclear. The EasyBusy channel's mission here is crucial; it offers an opportunity to embody this uncertainty and aims to create a content architecture that not only informs but also guides.

Development of the LegalTech Ecosystem

For this development to occur, potential entrepreneurs must be able to identify legal needs, and existing LegalTech initiatives must thrive. Furthermore, the entrepreneurial nature of legal professionals' efforts to solve problems in their respective fields will serve as a significant lever for the legal field.

Along with my reasons for gravitating towards the LegalTech ecosystem, I understand and prioritize that the most essential need in this field is to pave the way for entrepreneurs and provide clarity. Furthermore, legal technologies have the potential to increase operational efficiency for both lawyers and clients. Naturally, in all this turmoil, the interaction between founders, legal professionals, and potential entrepreneurs becomes increasingly important. Naturally, the need for a community also arises. Therefore, I set out with the goal of establishing an ecosystem in the LegalTech space.

Consulting and Strategic Clarity

More than just a business model, the consulting model is a tool aimed at helping LegalTech SaaS founders achieve strategic clarity. The 12-week Strategic Clarity consultancy provides customized business analysis and development necessary to help entrepreneurs achieve their goals. This process embraces a future-proof approach, integrated with digital transformation, and effectively integrating regulations is also a key aspect of legaltech.

The program aims to teach entrepreneurs how to manage their businesses more efficiently, define their strategic goals, and take the necessary steps to achieve them. The consulting process aims to maximize the potential of each startup by providing tailored solutions to their needs. In this context, systematic consulting focused on close impact and communication targets legaltech founders who have achieved product-market fit. Startups at this stage are the ones most in need of consulting and are at a critical juncture. They cannot backtrack because they have a proven product and market demand. However, pushing forward can also be problematic; numerous issues can arise regarding product development or expectations of rapid progress.

Additionally, the so-called soft-consulting approach offers a model for other valuable stakeholders in the ecosystem (legal professionals and potential entrepreneurs). We strive to meet these needs with a faster, more question-and-answer-friendly system.

In summary;

Three Target Audience-Specific Approaches
  • Entrepreneurs: Strategic clarity is gained by providing consultancy to startups that have achieved product-market fit.

  • Legal Professionals: Efficiency and technology adoption are achieved through communities and content support.

  • New Entrepreneur Candidates: They are supported to take an easier step into their entrepreneurial journey through soft consultancy (free or low-cost courses, content, materials).

Chapter 3: Inspiration

Failure and Attempts in Entrepreneurship

A frame from the entrepreneurship presentation
The quote on the slide reads: "Time is the only capital that gains value the more you use it."

For Those Who Say “Can I Do It Too?”

Entrepreneurship is sometimes projects initiated with huge capital, and sometimes it is a brave answer to a small question:

“Well, what if I tried?”

EasyBusy's transformation story is a heartfelt answer to this very question. Rebuilt after a long period of silence, this channel reflects the common experience of every aspiring entrepreneur: "Keep trying."

🔄 Failed Attempts, Real Lessons

I've had my fair share of attempts throughout my entrepreneurial journey, and I've even provided a few examples above. However, projects like the blockchain payment infrastructure WeAgreed and Chech, in particular, demonstrated a few key points for me. These projects were innovative but not sustainable. They required not just an idea, but the trio of idea + strategy + system.

This awareness is the most valuable experience an aspiring entrepreneur can have in their first project:

Failure turns into success when you start asking the right questions.

That's why EasyBusy content will include not only "success stories" but also "what we learned from failure." Because entrepreneurship begins with understanding every aspect of the story.

The Future of EasyBusy

EasyBusy's future will be shaped by a greater focus on community building and legaltech stakeholders. Our content will continue to share knowledge on entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and legaltech. Our goal is to contribute to the development of our audience by providing valuable information. Furthermore, the materials and courses we create here will aim to be a valuable resource for the ecosystem.

Planned Communities

Two communities are planned:

  • Digital Lawyers Turkey: An elite and professional community for legal professionals. Lawyers will have access to content related to both technology and professional development.

  • Legal Mastermind: A community for entrepreneurs who have achieved product-market fit. The focus will be on strategic development, networking, and knowledge sharing.

Our Social Mission and Results

In the future, I plan to undertake more projects to contribute to the growth of the LegalTech ecosystem. In the process, I will continue to pursue this path of understanding the needs of entrepreneurs and legal professionals and providing them with the best solutions.

One of our core goals is to contribute to entrepreneurs, legal professionals, and aspiring entrepreneurs, creating social benefits. It's clear that digitalization will reduce costs, streamline processes, and enable a more equitable legal system. Furthermore, we hope to create an ecosystem where this transformation can pave the way for Türkiye to become an internationally exemplary country in the field of LegalTech.
